Cuttyhunk Weekend Fun Cruise | June 27–28

Ahoy NEMA sailors,

NEMA invites you to join a weekend cruise to Cuttyhunk Island on Friday–Saturday, June 27–28.

This relaxed early‑summer gathering is a great chance to cruise together, explore the island, and enjoy the season with fellow multihull sailors.

Cruise Details

• Destination: Cuttyhunk
• Dates: Friday afternoon through Saturday evening, June 27–28
• Rally Point: Arrive in Cuttyhunk Pond Friday afternoon or evening
• Overnight: Anchoring or mooring in the pond

⚓ Tentative Plan

• Friday:
  Arrivals throughout the afternoon. Informal get‑togethers as boats come in.

• Saturday:

  • Optional fun race around the Cuttyhunk tower for those interested
  • Others are welcome to enjoy the island, beaches, and town at a relaxed pace
  • Traditional clam bake and/or BBQ on the beach Saturday afternoon

Plans will remain flexible and weather‑dependent, based on interest and conditions.

ℹ️ Please Note

• This is a participant‑organized cruising event, not a race (except the purely optional fun sail)
• Each skipper is responsible for their vessel, crew, mooring reservation (optional) and navigation
• Final details and coordination will be shared with participating boats closer to the date
